Unit 26 Mainly revision 一、教学目标与要求 ?通过本单元复习,使学生进一步熟悉在本册书中所出现的语法项目和日常交际用语。复习中,以学生的语言实践、口笔头练习为主,尤其注重笔头的落实。通过对课文的学习,使学生了解世界上一些地区贫富悬殊的情况。学生用自己的语言,描述这篇感人的故事。 ? 二、教学重点与难点 ?1.重点词汇live(adj.);realize;persuade;provide;sail;turn down;call back;ringoff;start doing something;come to 2.重要句型1)His greatest success has not been in singing but in organizing othersingers to sing for him—for free!2)He persuaded all the world-famous pop stars to come andsing at one of these concerts for free.3)By the end of the year,the total money collected hadcome to over 92 million dollars,all of which were sent to Africa. 3.语法复习第21至25单元出现过的语法项目。 4.日常交际用语复习第21至25单元出现过的日常交际用语项目。 ? 三、课型 ?(一)对话课 Ⅰ.教具? 录音机,投影仪,电话机。 Ⅱ.课堂教学设计 1.教师通过以下步骤,导入本课: 向学生提出下列问题:1)Do you like to listen to pop music?2)Can you tell me some ofthe famous singers of pop music?3)Do you know that some singers collect money for thepoor? 2.准备放对话录音。借助投影片打出以下听前提问:1)Why does Bob Geldof make aphone call to Rik?2)When and where will the concert be held? 放录音一至两遍,请学生回答上述问题,教师予以必要订正。 Key:1)Because he wants him to play in a concert for him.2)The concert will be heldon July 13th in London. 根据本课对话内容,教师再提出一些问题,检查学生的理解程度。1)What was Rik doingwhen Bob made a phone call to him?2)Why does Rik say that he will ring back later?3)What does Bob say about the concert held on July 13th?4)Who do you think Paula is? 3.再次放对话录音,学生跟读。将学生分为两人一组练习对话。数分钟后,请两、三组同学到前面表演。 经数分钟练习后,教师可请几位同借助电话机学到前面进行表演,教师予以讲评。提醒学生在打电话时不可对视。 4.教师指导学生归纳在本课中有关打电话的常用语句(见下表)。也可为学生设计一些情景,启发同学运用这部分语言编小对话。 1)Hello.Is that…?2)Hello.Can I speak to…,please?3)Yes,speaking.4)Justa minute,please.I’m sorry,he’s not here right now.5)Who’s calling?6)Yes,it’s…here.Can you ask him to call me back?7)Will you give him a message,please?8)Can youring me back right away?9)Sure.Later this evening.10)My number is….Tell him to askfor…or…OK? 情景1:Someone is ill and does not go to school today.Now he is making a phone call toone of his classmates,asking about the lessons today and what they will do tomorrow. 情景2:Someone has
