Swaffield Dr. Bruce C. Swaffield is a full professor and teaches graduate courses in writing and journalism at Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA. He holds an M.A. and Ph.D. in literature and writing from the University of Miami (Coral Gables, FL) as well as a B.S. in journalism from Kent State University. In addition, Dr. Swaffield is the founder and director of the Worldwide Forum on Education and Culture, which meets annually at John Cabot University in Rome, Italy. He has published more than 40 articles in the past 20 years and is currently at work on a book on nonfiction creative writing. liberal arts esp.
