I studied English when I was in junior middle school .I had a teacher who often asked us to recite, but the punishment. Therefore, we were afraid of her. Learning English in junior middle was a very painful experience for me. Tough we recited the tests, our pronunciation is pretty awful. Therefore, it was hard for me to express myself correctly. Whenever I tried my best to speak English in class. I would be laughed by my classmates. After that I had no confidence to speak English any more .I suffered a lot in the class because I did not want to lose face in front of my friends. Gradually, I found it had nothing to do with my English study. I had made a fool of myself. I realized that the best way to prove myself was to study harder and caught up with others. So I seized every chance to speak English in class as well as in free talk. What is more, I did morning reading every day. I eagerly want to improve my English level. There is an old saying “No pains, no gains ”.I studied English so careful. Therefore, I am sure I will make it. When I Went to senior middle school, our English teacher no longer to punish us, but our class were so many people and things were not improved. Thus ,my English level was just so so. It seemed my English was going to stay at the same level. However, that state didn’t last too long. When I went to college, I found that all students were required to study English through an online course. However, online learning was not easier than regular classroom study. It required a lot of time, commitment and discipline to keep up with the flow of the course. Therefore,I worked hard to meet the minimum standards set by the course and to complete assignments on time. If you wanted to learn English very well, you had better study it very hard.
