By integrating the pump with a homemade online conductance detection cell, a continuous flow titration without valve was realized, which was simple and easy to implement in common laboratories. Acid-base titration was demonstrated with the system and confirmed by conventional volumetric titration with good agreement. With its facility and explicit principle, and combined with various online detection methods, this method may become a general platform for performing volumetric analysis in a flow and miniaturized way. Keywords: electrolysis pump，flow titration，flow conductivity detection cell 1 Introduction Flow titration was first proposed by Ruzicka and Hansen et al in 1977 [1]. Usually the reagent is used as the carrier flow, and a given volume of titrate is introduced with the aide of sample loop and valve and mixed online before passing the detector. Flow titration is simple, fast, high-throughput, and consumes less reagent and time [2]-[4]. Continuous flow titrations were implemented by Dallner C et al[5] by changing the volume ratio of reagent and titrate, and the ratio was regulated by changing switch frequency of a 3-way distribution valve controlled by a computer.
