P1 (Intro):
The quadruple-line graph illustrates how much people in an European country spend per week on meats and fish from 1979 to 2004. This report will examine the main changes and find the overall trend.
P2 (Body):
(GS)According to this chart, there were many changes in the consumption of meats, while weekly eating of fish was stable. During these years, only the weekly consuming of chicken increased, from around 140 grams in 1979 to 250 grams in 2004(S1), becoming the most popular meat compared with beef and lamb. At the same time, there was a significant decline for beef and lamb: by the year 2004, the weekly consumption of beef dropped by 120 grams(S2), while lamb-eating decreased by half compared with 1979(S3). As stated earlier, the only stable spending was for fish, since it remained at around 60 to 50 grams per week.
P3:
Overall, this graph suggests that the demand of chicken has increased during these years in this country, while other meats have become less popular.
