[命题特点]
1.突出语篇大意理解; 2.试题题型稳定,选项独具匠心;
3.辨析词义,以实词为主; 4.记叙文为主,且第一句不设空;
5.生词量有增无减; 6.长句增加,句式灵活,结构复杂。
[考查角度]
1.词汇:考查某些词义的识别、同义词辨析、英语习惯用法的熟悉程度。
2.语法结构:考查语法规则的实际应用。
3.语篇句意:考查语篇的整体理解和主旨大意的把握,以及作者写作意图和隐含观点的领会。从语篇角度,即上下文和情景语境综合测试考生的阅读理解能力。
4.逻辑推理能力的考查:学生需要根据文章内容做出推理和判断。
5.生活常识的考查:将生活常识与文章背景相联系,有助于语篇的理解。
每篇文章中利用上下文来判断答案的情况占总题量的60%以上,所以,利用文章上下文是解题的关键所在。
[做题存在的问题]
★边读边做,心中无忧文章的大意和框架。由于急于求成,未通读全文便忙于答题,不了解文意,无整体概念边读边填,两眼忙于空白与选项之间,欲速则不达。
★只局限于眼前的句子,没有全局观念,不注意上下文的连贯和情节的暗示。
★只抠字眼,语法,不顾文意,抓不住关键。

一. 重复暗示法 (repeated hints)
特别注意空格前后所出现的相关词语,尤其注意找出其中重复出现的暗示性词语。
