Vol No JOU RNAL OF T HE C HINA RAILWAY SOCIET Y February U T U A doi issn j Analysis of Displacement Influence Line for Railway Bridge with Rotatable Elastic Support and Local Damage Z HA N G Yanqing SU N Ke Colleg e of A rchit ecture and Civil Engineering Beijing U niv er sity of T echnology Beijing China Abstract Aiming at the railw ay bridge w ith rotatable elastic support s at the boundary the analy tical f ormulas of displacement inf luence line DIL of any measuring point s of the bridge w ere derived to analyze the eff ect s of the rotatable elastic support s and local damage on DIL f or these bridges Firstly the mechanical equation of the structure w as obtained based on def ormation compatibility condition and the ex plicit f ormulas of the inter nal f orces and displacement inf luence line w hen local damage existed w ere derived based on energy principle T hese theoretical f ormulas show ed the eff ect s of the structural stiff ness local damage rotational stiff ness and measuring point po sition on the inf luence line T he method combining theory w ith numerical ex periment w as used to analyze the variation of rotational stiff ness the variation rules of DIL and it s curvature w hen local damage existed T he result s show ed that rotational stiff ness aff ected the peak value and position of DIL of dif f erent measuring point s Further research on the curvature characteristics of DIL show ed that the mutation of curvature value occurred at the damage area With the increase of rotational stiff ness
