Questionnaire for the Pilot Project on Information Sharing on Climate Services The fifteenth session of the Regional Association II (Asia) held in Doha, Qatar from 13 to 19 December 2012 decided to establish a pilot project on information sharing on climate services. (Please also see the Resolution 15 (RA II-15).) The Japan Meteorological Agency’s Tokyo Climate Center (JMA/TCC), as the designated Lead center for the pilot project, gathered information about climate services provided by National Meteorological and Hydrological Services (NMHSs) in RA II via the questionnaire survey in 2013. Owing to your kind cooperation to this survey, we launched the pilot project website in March 2014, to share climate services and best practices of climate information among NMHSs in the region by organizing the submitted questionnaires. http://ds.data.jma.go.jp/tcc/pilot/ This website is expected to be useful for considering future actions required to facilitate the utilization of climate information. I would like to invite you again to participate in this pilot project by updating the information on this website. Taking this opportunity, I am planning to enhance the information about the concrete examples or good practices of the utilization of climate information in the region in accord with the vision of the Global Framework of Climate Services (GFCS), namely, enabling society to better manage the risks and opportunities arising from climate variability and change. I believe that this kind of information could be helpful to enhance the climate services of NMHSs in the region. I would be grateful if you would send the completed questionnaire to the attention of Atsushi Goto (Mr.), who is responsible for this project in the JMA/TCC (E-mail: tcc@met.kishou.go.jp), at your earliest convenience, but preferably not later than 11 September 2015. Please note that provided information including links to climate information on your website will be made available on the pilot project
