Methods The SCT imaging of 26 patients with PCP in AIDS were retrospectively analyzed.All patients were proved by clinic and pathology. Results The SCT images included with diffuse ground -glass opacity (n = 22), diffuse reticular pattern (n = 8), crazy-paving pattern (n = 11). Unusual findings inclueded patchy exudation, segmental consolidation, air containing cystic pattern, nodular, bullae, pneumothorax, a little of pleural, pericarditis, and enlarged mediastinal lymph nodes. Conclusion The typical manifestations of PCP are diffuse ground-glass opacity, diffuse reticular pattern, crazy-paving pattern.If the above appearances are showed in patients with AIDS, the pneumocystis pneumonia should be considered .
