Methods 120 patients with outpatient colonoscopy were randomly divided into A group (verbal explanation) and B (orally Explanation and written guidance), drug compliance were observed and compared the degree of bowel cleansing. Results Group B patients with medication compliance, bowel cleanliness and A were statistically significant group, B group than the A group. Conclusion oral and written guidance to explain the combination of health education can improve patient medication compliance colonoscopy, intestinal cleanliness, checking accuracy, more suitable for guidance clinic patients. [Keywords:] health education; colonoscopy; bowel preparation; magnesium sulfate Abstract Objective To discuss the influence of different health education methods on outpatients’ compliance of bowl preparation and the preparation effect before colonoscopy.Methods 120 outpatients were randomly divided into 2 groups before colonoscopy: Group A (oral explanation) and Group B (oral explanation plus written instruction), and an observation was made to drug compliance of the patients in the 2 groups and their intestine cleanness were compared.Result The drug compliance and the intestine cleanness of the patients in Group B were better than those of the patients in Group A , the difference was of statistical significance. Conclusions Health education with oral explanation plus written instruction can raise the drug compliance and intestine cleanness of the patients before colonoscopy as well as the accurate rate of examination, it is more suitable for instructing outpatients.
