The results of screening of 23 RAPD primers, five kinds of ISSR primers, after PCR amplification to generate sufficient polymorphic bands for analysis. Conclusion samples from the different origin of the Yu-chu, the small Polygonatum, spend more Polygonatum there a certain degree of variation. RAPD, ISSR methods can distinguish between the molecular level Polygonatum medicinal plants. [Keywords:] Polygonatum; cluster analysis; RAPD; ISSR Abstract: ObjectiveTo establish the systematic cluster analysis for the relationship of the accessions of Polygonatum and give some information for the classification of plants which belong to Polygonature.Methods Identification of original plant, RAPD and ISSR were used. All of the samples were amplified by PCR system and separated by 1.8% electrophoresis. Results23 arbitrary premiers were evaluated for the analysis of RAPD, 5 arbitrary premiers were evaluated for the analysis of ISSR, the primers could yield enough polymorphic bands for the analysis. ConclusionThe plants such as P. odoratum, P . humile and P. cyrtonema collected from different areas also have some difference. RAPD and ISSR can be used for the identification of Polygonatum in molecular level.
