MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF BREEDON PARISH COUNCIL HELD IN THE COMMUNITY CENTRE, BREEDON, ON MONDAY, 4TH DECEMBER 2006 PRESENT: Cllr J Wright Cllr A Corbett (Vice Chair) Cllr C Wakefield Cllr N Cox Cllr D Garrett PC John Pearson Mrs J S Allen (Clerk) AGENDA 89. Apologies: Cllr K Jones. 90. Declarations of Interest by Members: It was noted that item 6e (planning applications) should be discussed with Cllr Cox absent from the room as this related to his property. 91. Minutes of Parish Council Meeting held on Monday, 6th November 2006: Accepted and signed. 92. Matters Arising: None. 93. Police Matters: Beat Priority – Church Patrols. PC Pearson reported that the current beat priority has approximately 3 months left to run. The work carried out so far has been very successful. A new larger litter bin has been placed around the tree seat which hopefully will alleviate some of the litter problems. PC Pearson also requested a patch walk with members of the Parish Council in the New Year. This is to be raised at the January meeting. Crime Figures – These are slightly up on the last 3 months, this mainly being due to the fact that more offences have been reported as a result of the greater police presence around the Church at night. Bus Shelter on The Green – PC lodged a complaint with NWLDC with regard to the state of this particular shelter. Replacement of the plastic windows with toughened glass is being investigated by NWLDC. Motor Vehicle Crimes – In the last month 2 vehicles in the village have been broken into and various items taken. 94. Planning Applications: 06/01705/ful – Change of use of building from grain store to industrial storage (B8). Wilson Hall Farm, Slade Lane, Wilson. No objections. 06/01746/TCA – General work to unprotected tress (trees within a conservation area). 10-12 Worthington Lane, Breedon.
