TASK ONE Interpreting From English into Chinese Address at the Fifth Anniversary Celebration of the Founding of Nature Magazine Ladies and gentlemen: It’s with great pleasure that I welcome you here today to the fifth anniversary celebration of the founding of the magazine Nature. Never could we have imagined five years ago that we would have come so far in so short a time. But here we are at the end of year five, and what a fantastic year it has been. Let me review our achievements in these five years. （1）We have published some very impressive articles, each month somehow surpassing the quality and depth of the previous month’s edition. 我们出版了一些令人印象深刻的文章，而且每个月与前一个月相比，在文章的质量和深度方面都有所超越。 （2）Our creative and talented staff won five writing awards and seven photographic awards.
