Among the three cortical networks, we found the greatest clustering coefficient and the longest absolute path length in AD, which mightindicatethattheorganizationofthecorticalnetworkwastheleastoptimalinAD.Thesmall-worldmeasuresofthe MCInetworkexhibitedintermediatevalues.ThisfindingislogicalgiventhatMCIisconsideredtobethetransitionalstage betweennormalagingandAD.Outofallthebetween-groupdifferencesintheclusteringcoefficientandabsolutepath length,onlythedifferencesbetweentheADandnormalcontrolgroupswerestati
