Abs tract There is still no union method to analyze EVM in the metrology field. In this project, In
the project, we w ill study the modulation process and demodulation process of the digitalmodulation sig
nals, and list all kinds of the factorswhich effect the EVMmeasurem ent results. On the base of these fac
tors, we w ill find a newway to calculate the results ofEVM, and am ethod to evaluate the measuring un
certainty of EVM. The character of EVMcan be analyzed availably in themethod.
