The adult family members were investigated with SCL-90 at the fist time, and all of the indexes were analyzed by Statistical analysis. Results: Among the 224 houses which were investigated, there are 103 houses exceed the standard of formaldehyde and total volatile organic compounds(TVOC). The under-standard rate is 460%. 350 adult family members were investigated with SCL-90. The number of positive project was (19.57±13.32), which was lower than the national norm; The average scores of 9 factors were between 1.27～1.71. The sub-scale scores of the SCL-90 in summarization, paranoid ideation and anxiety were significantly higher than those for the national norm. The results form the investigation of 158 persons whose house pollutants were higher than national standard showed that ahead abnormal items were summarization, obsessive compulsive, depression and anxiety. The score from the under-standard group is higher than the normal. Except the summarization and phobia, scores in other 7 sub-scales were higher group of exceeding standard than group not exceeding. Conclusion: Indoor decoration air pollution may be one of the factors which impacts the adult metal health.
