METHODS: The diabetic hypertensive patients (n=373) treated in our hospital from 200301 to 200508 were divided into 2 groups according to the departments where they were treated: Department of Endocrinology as group A (n=211), and the others as group B (n=162). Analyze thEir prescriptions of antihypertensive drugs and treatment plan by statistical methods. RESULTS: In the 2 groups, the usage rates of angiotensinconverting enzyme inhibitor (ACEI) were 24.0% and 20.7% (P0.05). The usage rates of angiotensinⅡreceptor blockers (ARBs) were 22.8% and 20.7% (P＞0.05). The usage rates of diuretics were 26.0% and 12.3% (P＜0.01). The usage rates of calcium channel blockers (CCB) were 20.9% and 23.7% (P0.05). The usage rates of βadrenergic receptor blockers (βblockers) were 6.4% and 21.5% (P＜0.01). The usage rates of αadrenergic receptor blockers (α blockers) were 0.0% and 1.1%. Most prescriptions were the combinations of two or more kinds of antihypertensive drugs (94.8%, 92.6%). CONCLUSION: The usage of antihypertensive drugs in our hospital was in accordance with the JNCⅦ.
