Abstract Jane Eyre is an excellent autobiographical novel written by Charlotte Bronte. It is also her most famous work. In this novel, Jane is a common woman who has no beautiful and charming appearance, but attracts us deeply. The author regards Jane as a tough and independent woman who pursues true love and equality, and is a good example of all women. Jane is an orphan, and has been ill-treated as a little girl. Then she is sent to Logwood institution to receive education, she strives her life to live. Finally she becomes a knowledgeable woman.She learns how to live and
