Nature can protect people against flooding or excessive
heat, or help to improve air and water quality, which
underpin human and environmental health.
When nature is harnessed by people and used as an
infrastructural system its called green infrastructure“.

managing wet weather impacts that provides many community

Grey stormwater infrastructure is designed to move urban
stormwater away from the built environment.
Green infrastructure reduces and treats stormwater at its source
