In this paper, we firstly introduce the researches on network architecture for common type data center through classification based on the standard whether the server has packet forwarding ability or not. Next, we focus on the researches on optimization design of DCN architecture for certain cloud computing applications. Then we present a summary of DCN architecture in industrial DCN solutions. Finally, we analyze and summarize future research directions of the DCN architecture briefly.
