Percentage Atheroma Volume (PAV) is calculated by expressing the atheroma volume (B-A) as a percentage of the volume of the vessel contained within the EEM (B) throughout the region of interest. So as a formula this becomes: PAV = ∑ (B – A) x 100 ∑ B ? * * The primary endpoint of the study is change in PAV in a target segment of coronary artery assessed (which must be at least 40mm in length). Change in PAV will be calculated by subtracting the PAV prior to treatment from the PAV at the end of the study. For regression this number will be a negative value. Abbreviations PA
