What is the most prestigious job in your mind? Why? Gywei When it comes to the most prestigious job .Some people may think it is the officer or the businessman, for they either have power or have a lot of money.??In my mind, however, these jobs are just important, but not prestigious at all. To me, the most prestigious and sacred job is teacher. Firstly, teachers impart knowledge and skills to the kids. With this knowledge, the kids will be capable of engaging in different kinds of jobs and achieve success in the future. So the teachers play an important role in social development. Secondly, teachers also teach students how to be a good person, such as, to be a man with honesty，responsibility and morality. Thirdly, teachers are representative of the social justice strength. They fight against evil and injustice. In China, teachers are known/ regarded / praised as the engineers of souls which I think is a perfect description of the prestige of their jobs. Though recently many scandals concerning teachers were exposed/ have come to light, my view on teachers won’t change.
