苔丝第四章赏析

Brief Introduction of chapter 4 The chapter has two points .First ,it tell us the party in Rolliver’s inn and the conversation between Mr Durbeyfield and Mrs Durbeyfield about that they want to let Tess to visit the rich lady who was considered as their relation . Second ,it tell us the death of the Prince and Tess considered its death as her fault .so she felt so painful and guilty . As to the expression of its language . And I think she didn’t know Tess at all. She had the thought that Tess is the same as her .But she was wrong . ------Being a few private friends asked in tonight to keep up club-walking at my own expense . These words are repeated by the landlady .by her words ,we can find she was a little timid .Because
