The world is colorful and the world civilization is many-fold and diversified. People of different countries have traversed different roads of historical development due to different cultural backgrounds, social systems, values and way of life. This diversity is the very reason why the world is full of competition, vigor and innovation. Therefore, countries should enhance exchanges and understanding, and move ahead together on the basis of mutual respect and equality. The Asia-Pacific region has abundant resources and a long history. Diversity is a prominent feature of the region. West Asia, Central Asia and East Asia differ from one another in circumstances. Many Asian countries are still struggling just to feed, clothe and shelter their citizens. Our discussion here aims to draw up a plan for the vision of Asia-Pacific Region. What an Asia-Pacific Region shall we need to bring about?
