Reconsidering Policies and Forecasting Future Trends of China’s Rare Earth Industry based on Network Data SHABI Abstract: In order to slow down the depletion of rare earth resources and to address environmental issues as well as to consolidate domestic rare earth industry, the Chinese government has implemented a number of policies to tighten its control over the production and exports of rare earths as well as to restructure rare earth industry in recent years. However, while successful reducing export volume temporary, oversupply, industrial overcapacity and low prices have become new chal
