Judging from the increase in cosmetic surgery recently, it is obvious that some people consider their appearance to be more important than anything else. Because of their infatuation with how they look, they waste their money, which they could spend on more important things ,and have cosmetic surgery instead. For example, a magazine article reported on a mother who became addicted to cosmetic surgery and was obsessed with improving her appearance. Eventually, she ended up spending her daughter`s entire college actions, her daughter will have difficulty attending college in the future. Sadly, this is not an isolated case, as many more people are wasting money to have surgery. In these instances, cosmetic surgery can have serious negative financial side effects on people and their families. ;Also, many young people believe that how a person looks is the most important quality in an individual. This mentality can make people become very superficial and narrow-minded, characteristics they will keep for the rest of their lives.
