In recent yearsChina international contractors CICs have met various difficulties and challenges to achieve sustainable growth accompany with their rapid progress. This paper puts forward the capacity of sustainable growth for international contractors. The capacity can be divided into vitality abilitygrowth abilityresilience abilityself-regulation ability and anti-decline ability. And then builds a CICs sustainable growth model and evaluation index systemin which both the five abilities and development stages of achieving sustainable growth are considered. Based on the model and the index systemthe countermeasures and suggestions of sustainable growth ability for CICs are proposed. The research can provide reference to build the capacity for achieving a sustainable growth for CICs in their different development stages. Keywords international project contractor sustainable
