School of Civil Engineering, Beijing JiaotongUn iversity, Beijing 100044, Ch ina) Abstract: Under low-cyclic horizontal loading, three recycled concrete mult-i ribbed composite w alls ( composed of 100% , 50%, 0 recycled aggregate) are studied in this paper. The seism ic behaviors of recycled concretemult-i ribbed com positewalls, such as the failure patterns, hysteretic loop, ductility, deterioration of stiffness and energy dissipation, etc., are exam ined. Finally, tri-linear retrograde restoring forcemodel of the recycled concretewall is established. The test results indicate: the failure pattern of them ulti-ribbedw all using recycled concrete is shearing failure; themaxmi um horizontal bearing capacity of the recycled concrete multi-ribbed w all, composed of 50% recycled aggregate, is no less than the natural concrete wall, how ever, the bearing capacity of the wall, composed of 100% recycled aggregate, is low ered by 18% ; ductility factors increase as the replacement rate of recycled aggregate increase; the threemult-i ribbed w
