As a de eloping natural lighting technology, the solar lighting essel had been caused wide public concern. In this paper, based on the discussion of energy resource status, the emergence and de elopment of solar lighting essel were briefly introduced. And then, the ad antages and disad antages of this system and the main problems were analyzed. Also, the de elopment tendency was discussed. It was concluded that the system should be combined with other technologies to achie e the lighting energysa ing.
