The M files can be divided into two classes depending on the call mode: the Script File and the Function File. 3.1.2 establishment and opening of M files The M file is a text file that can be created and edited with any editing program, and the text editor provided by MATLAB is generally used and most convenient. Create a new M file To create a new M file, the MATLAB text editor has three methods: (1) menu operation. Select the New menu item from the File menu in the main window of the MATLAB, select the m-file command, and the screen will appear in the MATLAB text editor window. (2) command operation. Enter command edit from the MATLAB command window and start the MATLAB text editor and enter the contents of the M file. (3) command button operation.
