T he prov isions about seism ic fortificat ion a mi s, se ism ic design categories, response spectrum and earthquake action are com pared and analyzed betw een Gu ideline JTG /TB0102200 8) and Eurocode 8 . T he resu lts indica te that it the aspects o f seis m ic fort ification ami s, seism ic design categories and response spectrum are smi ilar, but the strength reduction facto rs are very different.
