HenanKey Laboratory forMachinery Design andTransm ission System, Luoyang 471003, China) Abstract: The external load are analyzed applied onmain bearingsof a type of tunnelboringmachine, and theovertur ningmoment isequivalent to apair of axialforcesw ith equalquantityand oppositedirections. The load distribution and contact deformation of every row of rollersare calculatedundereach load. The load distribution on the first row and sec ond row of rollersiscalculatedby supermi posing thedeformation of rollersand the largest load of every row of rollersare gotfrom their load distributions. Finally, themaxmi um contact stress and deformation of the rollersw ith the biggest load are obtained using finite elementmethod for every row roller.
