On the one hand, by defining the expected value of exponential type fuzzy numbers, the defuzzification processing of weight vector of attributes is achieved; on the other hand, according to the theory of interval numbers of three elements and the information of the cut sets with exponential type fuzzy numbers, a new distance measure between exponential type fuzzy numbers is defined to calculate the distance between every scheme and ideal scheme. Then, based on the definitions of the expected value and the distance measure, the multiple attribute Topsis decision making method on exponential type fuzzy numbers is proposed by fuzzy idea point. Finally, an example is provided to verify the effectiveness of the proposed methods.
