基因与社会(Genes and society)

基因与社会(Genes and society) Wu Dadi: the social life of genes October 26, 2013 | More Wu Dadi In recent years, scientists have discovered that human genes are not a blueprint. Day after day, week after week, people continue to genes and their environment, their families and their neighbors, their mentality of dialogue. These interactive effects enter their cell control chambers, thereby affecting their habits, behaviour, physiology and health. David Dobbs (David Dobbs) recently in the Pacific Standard - by Miller Mike Carney, American nonprofit research, media and public policy center (Miller-McCune Center for Research Media and Public Policy) published knowledge magazine -- published a wonderful article social life (The gene Social Life of Genes) and the new development of genetics in this area. In the article, David first mentioned that it was an interesting experiment. Scientific researchers have caught 1000 new bees, 500 European and African varieties. Then swap their homes: put the feral little African bee killer into the hive of European bees; meanwhile, put the mild European farm bees into the hive of wild African bees. Tracking results showed that these Bees Baby character with their growing environment changed: violent gentle, violent temperature change. Further studies show that the living environment seems to change behavior by altering the genetic functioning of small bees. These European bees are very close to the genes of African bees, but not quite the same. Some researchers believe that their habits and behavior are influenced by expression (gene). In recent years, scientists have known that genes can alter their activity, as regulated by dimmer switches. Most of the cells in our body contain a full set of 22 thousand genes. However, at any given time, for any given cell, only a small portion of the gene is active. These active sections send chemical information that affects cell activity. The gene activity of this variable is called gene expression, an
