This paper analyzed factors of impacts on the specified transformer load-controlled terminal from the aspects of communications, terminal configuration, primary station arrangement, protocols and so on. The optimum installation and debugging process consisted of preparation of installation, terminal installation, on-site debugging and spot inspection. This process provides references for terminal debugging and system application in the electricity utilization information collection system.
