Definition of reservoir damage: in the whole process of drilling, well completion, downhole operation and oil and gas field exploitation, the phenomenon of decreasing permeability of oil and gas reservoir is collectively called oil and gas reservoir damage. 2, the essence of oil and gas reservoir damage is the decrease of absolute permeability and the decrease of relative permeability. 3, to protect the importance of oil and gas reservoirs: A. exploration process, the protection of oil and gas reservoir work is directly related to the timely detection of new oil and gas reservoirs and the correct evaluation of reserves. B. protection of oil and gas reservoir is beneficial to the production of oil and gas well and the improvement of economic efficiency of oil and gas field development. In the development and production of C. oil and gas field, it is advantageous for the oil and gas well to be stable and increase production to improve the oil and gas reservoir protection. 4, to protect the characteristics of oil and gas reservoir technology: A. reservoir protection technology is a system engineering involving multidisciplinary, multi professional and multi department, and runs through the whole oil and gas production process.
