陈晓云 CHEN Xiaoyun 我 收 藏 的 106 Flashes of Lightning That I Collect 道 闪 电 5/21 - 7/01 2016 香格纳画廊将于 2016 年 5 月 21 日在上海香格纳画廊主空间隆重推出陈晓云个展 《我收藏的 106 道闪电》 ，展览将持续至 7 月 4 日。此次展览将向您展示艺术家 2016 年最新创作的雕塑， 装置以及影像作品。 展览以“我”“收藏”的“106 道闪电”为名，以第三人称的创作者姿态通过雕塑，影像等 不同的方式来呈现一系列有名无实，有实无形，有形无意或者强词夺理地杜撰关于对闪电的 理解。此处艺术家所收藏的闪电也许是关于物的，也许是关于瞬间的感受，也许是一段扭曲 的叙事。也或许是记忆模糊前那最后一刹微暗之光。如同我们都被那闪电瞬间的能量所触动 却无法描述那道闪电的形状。而艺术家所强调的“收藏”是一种“归类”或者是指杂乱甚至 互相干扰的样式集合，所以“创作”变得没有“理解”来得更加让“收藏”变得合理。 一切以“闪电”为名。 ShanghART is pleased to present Chen Xiaoyun’s solo exhibition, 106 Flashes of Lightning that I Collect , which runs from May 21st to July 4th, 2016. On view will be a series of works created in 2016, including sculptures, installations and videos. 106 Flashes of Lightning that I Collect is a showcase of the artist’s indulgent reading into lightning through various media. The exhibition is presented and narrated in third- person point of view. The artist’s capture is a detailed analysis of lightning, it may be nominal but not material, may be material but not distinguishable, and may be distinguishable but not meaningful. The collection of lightning, sometimes objective, sometimes reflects a sudden gust of emotion, implies a twisted narration and mimics the last dim light before memory fades. Lightning flashes to our mind as we are aware of its power but we fail to describe its shape. Chen Xiaoyun’s collection is a certain kind of category, a gathering of crisscrossed patterns that tangle with each other. It’s an understanding rather than mere creation in this collection.
