The Danish designer Hans Wegner has reclaimed the aesthetics of the Ming chair in modern design so far that no foreigner nor a Chinese can surpass him (I think). Hans Wegner died in January 26th, and over 500 years of his life, he designed more than 92 chairs (500400300 have articles to say), known as masters of chairs. Hans Wegner was born in April 2, 1914 in Rural Denmark Tonder, his father was a shoemaker, began his career skills from the age of 14, as an apprentice carpenter in the local furniture (English called cabinet making, and the industrial design has a history in relation with Stahlberg, word), in his spare time he did some wood portrait sculpture, dream of a woodcarver, 15 years old the first chair of their own.
