Abstract The Kite Runner, as the Afghan-born American writer Khaled Hosseini’s maiden work, has won good reputation all over the world when it was published. This work won almost all the prizes as a new star in literary creation in the English-speaking countries and had made the record of occupying the top position of nine major booking-ranking for over ten weeks at the same time. But there is little study about this writer and his works in China. Critics think that Khaled Hosseini is a writer who full of atonement thought.
