But because of parts of safety technology and management personnel in company, so much as some safety supervise personnel in the government don’t know the problem deeply and concepts clearly, it result in setting up the method unreasonable to protect the metal pipeline from the damage of thunder and static. By analyzing the formation mechanism, the way of damage and harmful consequences of destroying the metal pipeline by the damage of thunder and static, this paper studies the connection and difference between the two, corrects people’s misunderstanding on the installing of metal pipeline flange jumper wire, puts forward corresponding opinions about safety protection, and then improves the standard of intrinsically safe in oil and gas station. At the same time, this paper puts forward some suggestions to the related departments, and wants to push forward the healthy development of national standardization undertakings.
