Abstract: A series of ternary CuO/ZnO/Al O catalysts were prepared by the conventional co-precipitation method,

and influence of preparation conditions including Cu/Zn ratio (A), aluminum content (B), pH (C), precipitation
temperature (D) , aging time (E) and calcination temperature (F) on the pore size of the catalysts was investigated by
orthogonal design. The experimental results show that the sequence of the importance of these factors is
B>F>D>C>A>E . Further, it is suggested that the optimized conditions are as follows: Cu/Zn ratio 1:1, Al(mol%) 5%,
pH 6.0, precipitation temperature 60 , aging time 90 min, calcination temperature 400
