Just then, the telephone rang. It was my aunt Lucy. Ive just arrived by train, she said. Im coming to see you. But Im still having breakfast, I said. What are you doing? she asked. Im having breakfast, I repeated. Dear me! she said.Do you always get up so late? Its one oclock! 【Language points】 1、It was Sunday. 那是个星期天。 因为是上个星期,所以时态不是一般现在时. it这里指天气 今天星期几? What day is it today? 今天几号? What‘s the date today? 2、I never get up early on Sundays. never (频度副词)= 助动词+not I dont like her.=I never like her. get up early 起床早 get up late 起床晚 on Sundays: 所有的星期天,每逢星期天,与一般现在时连用,表示经常性的行为。 Tea is always at four oclock. He doesnt always come by train. He has seldom been to see me. I could never find the place. He often gets up late. 频度副词位于be、助动词之后,实意v.之前 Exercises in Page 18. 3、I sometimes stay in bed until lunchtime. stay in bed 呆在床上不起来 在表达卧床时bed前不需加冠词: It’s time for bed now. You must stay/remain in bed for another two days. 一般过去时 表示过去发生的事。yesterday, last week last year be用was或用were, have,has变had; 谓语动词过去式,过去时间作标志;一般动词加-ed 4、I looked out of the window. look out of :朝窗外看 out of是固定搭配 5、It was dark outside. dark: 天很黑 2. what + adj. + n.(复数) + (主谓) eg: These are pretty flowers. →What pretty flowers (these are)!
