UDP motherboard and UDP F960 MCU card are designed to support either stand-alone low power or Wireless MCU daughter cards (also called pico-boards). This allows for complete customization of tools based on customer requirements. Boards are fully compatible with existing development tools like Silicon Labs’ IDE and the Wireless Development Suite (WDS). * In line with our modular tools approach, the C8051F96x and Si102x/3x come with development kits that use the same UDP base board combined with a unique pico-board. The kits provide support for Silicon Labs IDE, Keil 8051 Development Tools, Configuration Wizard and Keil uVision Drivers. We have also included code examples to exercise all hardware peripherals e.g. AES, DMA, dc-dc converter, LCD driver etc. One point to highlight here is that each of the radio kits includes two sets of boards so customers can make a complete transmit-receive system for evaluation. * In addition to the software development kits, the Si102x and 3x families include wireless development kits that enable Wireless Development Suite (WDS) support. Silicon Labs’ WDS is a platform generally suited for RF developers. It allows automatic board detection and firmware downloads, enabling engineers to quickly start evaluating part performance.
