To Explore the Differences Between Western and Chinese Family Education Based on Battle Hymn or the Tiger Mother Abstract : With the development of globalization, the contact between the Chinese and western becomes more and more frequent. Chinese culture and education have a great influence on the western’s while the western impact China. Chinese-American mother Amy Chua -’Tiger Mother, whose Chinese family educational methods and book Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother caused a heat to discuss both in China and America which is endless discussion on the East-West family education. Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother is a book by Amy Chua published in 2011.article published under the headline Why Chinese Mothers are Superior in the Wall Street Journal on January 8. 2011, contained excerpts from her book, in which Chua describes her efforts to give her children what she describes as a traditional, strict Chinese upbringing.This piece was controversial for that this book introduces Chuas strict stance.
