DAY 1: ARRIVAL + FLY MASAI MARA Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by our airport representative and proceed for breakfast at a restaurant in Nairobi town. Thereafter, transfer to Wilson Airport at 0900hrs you will be transferred to the airstrip to catch up with your Air Kenya flight that departs Wilson at 0915hrs to arrive in Masai Mara at 1015hrs. On arrival Karen Blixen Luxury Camp staff will pick you and transfer to the Camp. You will fly along the world famous East African Rift Valley and drive west to animal sanctuary of Maasai Mara. Covering an area of some 1,500 square kilometers in the south-western corner of Kenya, the Mara is unfenced, bordered in the West by the Oloololo Escarpment and in the East by the Ngama Hills on your way to Nairobi. A living tapestry of grassy savannah, umbrella-like thorn trees, rounded hills, towering gallery forests and abundant wildlife, the Maasai Mara draws photographers and travelers from across the globe.
