It show s h igh and stab le floccu lating activity for Gaoling clay su sp ension. And its floccu lating activ ity w as h igh er than other th ree k ind s of floccu lan ts such as PA C and so on. . The floccu lating activity cou ld ach ieve 95% under th e b est cond ition s. The cu ltu re condition w as op tmi i ed and the affection of salts w as studied. The resu lts show s: ( 1) The best single carbon souce is 25 gL- 1 glu cose; ( 2) Com p lex carbon sou rce is better than single carbon sou rce and the best comp lex carbon sou rce is su crose 5 gL- 1 and glu cose 20 gL- 1; ( 3) In organ ic n itrogen could not facilitate grow th of the strain, the best n itrogen source is 1. 5 gL- 1 p eptone; ( 4) M gSO w as ab le to facilitate th e g
