Further, any material from another candidate that has been used for copying, will also be rejected.’ Assessment Conditions The development for this outcome is combined with outcomes 2, 4A and 4B to form a complete project. The use of course material and candidate’s own research notes are permitted. Candidate Instructions You are required to write a program in Visual Basic that will retrieve data from your Oracle database. The retrieval must be made using program code, not using a GUI interface. The tables created in Assessment 4 are required to complete this assessment. Candidate’s Assessment Evidence The candidate will produce evidence in the form of hard copy and an observation checklist: A connection was established Correct data was retrieved on at least 3 occasions using different constraints At least one returned data set contained in a multi-row result At least one exception was returned and handled in a controlled manner You should provide a listing of your program and screen dumps of the output. A checklist is provided to ensure that all relevant performance criteria are completed.
