INFORMATION ON INGREDIENTS The pens are composed from a quantity of ink (various colours) absorbed in a polyester fibre reservoir which is held within a polypropylene or metal barrel. The barrel is fitted with a polypropylene collar which both seals of the open end of the barrel and holds the nib in contact with the ink reservoir. The pens are fitted with a fibre nib which is covered with a polypropylene cap. In normal use the pens and their components should not pose any significant hazard. The quantity of ink with an individual pen is not sufficiently great to fall within the scope of the regulations. 3. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION Not applicable 4. FIRST-AID MEASURES Not applicable. Removal of the ink from the skin may be achieved with suitable skin cleaners, water and scrubbing if required. 1 5. FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES Marker pens need not be considered as a fire hazard in themselves, but large quantities held in storage may contribute to the spread of fire and may generate toxic vapours.
