In o rder to uncover the reason of baseline drifting o f ve loc ity and d isplacem en t integrated from accelerat ion, a sh ak ing-table expermi ent w as con- ducted. A ll the f ive k inds o f accelerog raph s dep loyed in China Strong-M o tion N ewt ork s w ere taken on the tab le, and the records w ere com pared. Th is p aper proposes a m ethod o f correct ing the accelerat ion records. W e com pare the disp lacem ent integrated from corrected acce leration w ith the displacem ent d irectly m easured in the sh aking-table expermi ent. T he results verify the credibility o f the proposed m ethod. A nd w e com pare the d isp lacem ents integrated from acceleration records in W enchuan ( 2008, M s 8. 0) and Chi Chi( 1999, M s 7. 6) earthqu akes w ith co-seism ic disp lacem ents o f the corresponding GPS station s.
