People are now easier to become educated than in the past? Today, truly well-rounded education holds the key to opportunities and to people’s living out their dreams and plays an increasingly crucial role. With the enhanced recognition of the importance of education, and with the ever-accelerated updating technology, I believe that in general, people are now more easier to become educated than before. First of all, the wider awareness of the importance of education makes every country exerts themselves to improve their education level. Government funds schools, colleges and universities to help them sustain and educate more students. For example, in most cities in China, school aged young individuals are free of charge to receive basic education, which gives them a readily access to knowledge. Also, teachers are provided with more privileges and more people are encouraged to dedicate to this career. All these ensure that nowadays people enjoy a more equal opportunity and a better chance to be educated. Second, the development of all kinds of technology further facilitate education. Thanks to the invention of Internet, tons of useful information and materials are now available online. I can visit sites like TED to watch educational program and get some innovative thoughts. I can listen to a Harvard professor’s lecture without being to Boston and communicate with him through email. Even exploring a museum can be more informative because most of them are now closely connected with audience and more interactive, which can help me feel the culture more vividly. Decades before, all these are impossible, which means in the past, people’s approaches for education are limited.
